Installation steps for repairing a 720A series pressure vacuum breaker:

1. First, shut off the power to the valve to ensure safety during the repair process.
2. Next, carefully remove the canopy by unscrewing the 3 screws and set them aside for later use.
3. After removing the canopy, unscrew the brass bonnet to access the internal components of the valve.
4. Remove the Disc & Poppet Assembly, as well as the old O-Ring and washer from the valve.
5. Then, carefully remove the Spring & Spider Assembly from the valve.
6. Use a cloth to absorb any remaining water inside the valve and inspect it for any signs of damage.
7. Install the Spider Valve, Spring, O-Ring, Disc & Poppet Assembly, and plastic washer in the correct order.
8. Thread the bonnet back onto the valve and ensure that the shaft of the Disc & Poppet Assembly is centered within the bonnet.
9. Hand tighten the bonnet to secure the components in place.
10. Finally, reattach the canopy and tighten the 3 screws to complete the repair process.
